Hyperion Gen2.0 is the flagship among Steelburners CNC laser cutting machines.
The Laser is Diode Pumped with a doped fiber as gain medium where most of the laser module is made of fiber. No laser gases are used and no mirrors for beam delivery needed. Instead the laser beam is guided through a fiber optic cable.
For manufacturing of Hyperion the most advanced and worldwide proven components are used. The same components have successfully gained the trust of the worlds largest manufacturers.

The second most important component beside the laser source is the focusing head.
Thus nothing less than the finest laser heads available in the global market are used.
For power range below 2000W Hyperion comes with Manual Focus high pressure laser head. For power range above 2000W Hyperion is equipped with state of the art Auto Focus laser head with advanced integrated sensors and Bluetooth connectivity. In both cases the Laser head is equipped with high precision capacitive height sensor with 0,01mm accuracy and exchangeable Lens protective window.

Steelburner knows that the most time consuming procedure in Laser cutting, is the time needed to calibrate the machine for the best pierce and cut cycle. For this Steelburners software engineering team has evolved a laser parameter management software which takes care of all parameters on cutting and piercing process for each material and thickness. The laser power, pulse frequency, assist gas type, gas pressure, focus position, nozzle standoff and other parameters that achieve the exceptional piercing and cutting quality, after stored can be recalled any time by a push of a button.
As standard Hyperion comes with high resolution cameras network for operation observation. The cameras have a dedicated high resolution monitor carefully positioned to assist the operator.

The light weight materials and the aerospace design of the moving parts, makes the construction stiff in high dynamics.
By incorporating into the housing many of the external components such as the generator and the chiller we created in a “plug & play ” principal a compact machine with impressively small footprint suitable for any working area.
This versatile design gives the option to choose between single or dual automatic tables accessible either from the back or from the side of the machine.
The vertical doors are equipped with Fiber laser certified protective windows and they are motor driven, achieving physical access to the entire length of the process area.
